How the ledger is kept.
What the site is
Halls of Poland is an editorial desk in Łódź that keeps one register — ten grand hotels of Poland, from Warsaw to Zakopane. Each entry is written from the street: the facade is seen, the district is noted, and the text says only what can be stood next to. The registry is ten halls; no other hotels are promised or implied.
Where prices come from
The price on every card is a starting price for the season, taken from the hotel's published offer at the time of writing and rounded to the euro — shown as «from … EUR / night». It is not a reservation, not a guarantee, and not a commission product; the hotels set and change their prices freely.
The ratings
The ★ figure is the ledger's own composite, kept on a 5-point scale: weight of the building, state of the rooms, table service, position. «kept notes» is the running count of entries held in the file behind the registry. Both are ours, both are editable, neither is bought.
What the site is not
- not a booking engine — nothing is reserved from these pages;
- not a travel agency and not a marketplace;
- not affiliated with any hotel listed — names and marks belong to their owners;
- no trackers beyond what the contact page says, see the cookie note.
Corrections
Errors and outdated entries are corrected at the desk on request — write to [email protected] or through the contact page. The corrected text is kept in the page with its new date.
