Halls of Poland is a small editorial desk in Łódź that keeps one register — ten of Poland's grandest hotels, from a modernist palace on Krakowskie Przedmieście to the wooded hillside above Zakopane. Each entry is recorded as found: facade, district, price, rating, three stay notes. No bookings, no reservations, no commissions; the ledger simply keeps where the halls are.
